Letter Patent of Ennoblement, conferring the rank of Knight, dated December 28, 1828 (19th century), granted and signed by Emperor Francis I of Austria to Hermengild Von Peche, Chief Controller of the Exchequer of the Hereditary Kingdom of Bohemia. He is also the step-grandfather of Madame Marie Gräfin Ségur-Cabanac. A crimson velvet binding containing an 8-page quire on vellum. It also features a high-quality gouache painting of the family coat of arms, with fresh colors and in excellent condition, depicting the family’s arms. Signed by Emperor Francis I of Austria. With its gold-threaded trimmings, seal holder, and accompanying wax seal. In-Folio format. In good condition.
