Rock crystal cigarette case with oval cross-section and European-inspired, partially frosted grooved decoration. The shoulder is encircled by 2 beaded geometric friezes in platinum 850 thousandths, accented with Art Deco diamond roses. French work circa 1920. No signature. Reminiscent of the work of great houses such as Janesich or Lacloche Frères... (slight lack of material in the crystal under the lid). Gross weight: 70.30 g. Dim: 8.5 x 5 x 2 cm.
