JANESICH, circa 1935 Manufacture STRAUSS, ALLARD MEYER Cigarette case in 750 thousandths gold, rectangular shape with rounded corners, chased in a grooved decoration enhanced by lines of black and blue enamel. The hinged lid features a watch in the upper left corner, square ivory dial with painted Arabic numerals, minute track, partially enameled bezel. Mechanical movement. Invisible push-button opening. Signed, numbered N° 14337, hallmarked SAM for Strauss, Allard Meyer (small accidents and missing enamel in one corner). French manufacturing hallmarks and English import hallmarks for 750 gold.
